Adding new contacts in TXT App Now is simple and can be done from both the Call and Inbox screens. Here's how:
Method 1: From the Call Screen
- Open the TXT App Now app and tap the Call icon at the top.
- Enter the phone number you want to save, including the country code.
- Tap on "Add to Contacts."
- Select "Create New Contact."
- Fill in the contact’s details like name and any other optional information (you can also add a photo).
- Tap "Done" in the top-right corner to save the contact.
Method 2: From the Inbox Screen
- Open the TXT App Now app and tap the Inbox icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the Compose icon in the top-right corner.
- You’ll see two tabs: Free and SMS, tap on the "SMS" tab.
- Tap on the message compose icon at the bottom-right.
- Enter the phone number and tap the "Compose Message" button.
- Once the chat thread opens, tap the number at the top and choose "Add to Contacts."
- Choose "Create New Contact."
- Fill in the contact's information like their name, phone number (already entered), and any other details you want to save (optional: add a photo from your gallery).
- Tap "Done" in the top-right corner to save the contact.
Bonus Tip: When you save the phone numbers of your existing contacts who also use TXT App Now, their names will automatically show up on the "Free" screen within the app. This eliminates the need to enter their numbers manually for free calls and texts.
