How do I send a free app-to-app SMS, picture message, or audio message using my TXT App Now number?

Sending free messages, pictures, and audio through TXT App Now is quick and easy when communicating with other TXT App Now users. Here's a step-by-step guide for each message type: 

Method 1: Sending a Free SMS (Text Message) 

1. Open the TXT App Now app and tap the Inbox icon at the top. 
2. Tap the compose icon in the top-right corner. 
3. You’ll see two tabs: Free and SMS, Choose the "Free" tab to view contacts who are also using TXT App Now. 
4. Tap on the name of the contact you want to message to open the chat window. 
5. Type your message in the text field. 
6. Tap the Send button to send your free SMS. 
   

Method 2: Sending a Picture Message 

1. Follow steps 1–4 from the SMS section above to open the chat window. 
2. Tap the "Pin" icon in the message input area. 
3. Choose from: 
   • Camera – to take a new photo. 
   • Photo Library – to select an existing image from your gallery. 
4. Select the image you want to send. 
5. Tap Send to deliver the picture message. 
   

Method 3: Sending an Audio Message 

1. Follow steps 1–4 from the SMS section above to open the chat window. 
2. Locate the Microphone icon next to the message input field. 
3. Press and hold the Microphone icon to begin recording. 
4. Speak your message while holding the icon. 
5. Release the icon once you're done recording. 
6. Tap Send to share the audio message.

Additional Notes: 

• Permissions Required: Make sure TXT App Now has permission to access your device’s camera and microphone via your phone’s settings.

You can also start a video call or voice call directly from the chat screen by tapping the icons in the top-right corner.
