What’s the difference between “TXT App Now” and “Phonebook” contacts?

The Contacts screen in the TXT App Now app shows two types of contacts:

1. TXT App Now Contacts:
These are people who also use the TXT App Now app.

  • You can chat, make voice calls, and video calls with them for free.

  • You don’t need any balance or credits to contact them.

  • If a friend isn’t using the app yet, you can send them an invite to join.

2. Phonebook Contacts:
These are contacts saved on your device.

  • You can still call or message them, but it will use your TXT App Now credits.

  • These calls and messages will be sent using your TXT App Now virtual number.

Note: You can always receive messages and calls for free, whether the person is using TXT App Now or is just a regular phone contact.
